ANDREW C. LIN is the Head of Equity Research and a Senior Technology
Analyst at JPMorgan H&Q Taiwan Securities in its Taipei, Taiwan office.
Mr. Lin has fifteen years of extensive professional experience across
Asia and North America in equity research, management consulting,
strategic planning, and project management. Currently, he covers
computer systems and telecommunications hardware manufacturers in
Taiwan. Prior to joining JPMorgan, Mr. Lin worked for management
consulting firms, McKinsey & Company and Booz'Allen & Hamilton, Inc., in
both Asia and the United States, concentrating on mergers &
acquisitions, growth strategy, business process reengineering, and
market entry strategy for electronics and telecommunications clients.
Before his management consulting career, Mr. Lin worked for AT&T Bell
Laboratories as a Project Manager in the United States. He participated
in a wide range of telecommunications assignments at Bell Labs,
including switching and signaling network design, total quality
management, strategic planning, network management and control, as well
as database software development. Mr. Lin also worked for Prime
Computer, Inc. and Digital Equipment Corporation (DEC) in research and
development capacity, focusing on development of Oracle database,
graphical user interface, computer networking products, and PC
applications. Mr. Lin received his MBA from The University of Chicago,
Graduate School of Business. He also graduated with an MS in Electrical
and Computer Engineering from the University of Massachusetts at
