STEVEN D. SIMPSON serves as the President and CEO of Extended Systems,
Inc. In March 1998, he directed the successful IPO of Extended Systems
and has since focused the company on the growth opportunities in the
wireless and mobile computing space. Mr. Simpson has over 25 years of
experience in the high-tech industry and is a former General Manager of
the Hewlett-Packard LaserJet printer program. He has held both marketing
and general management positions throughout his career. Mr. Simpson was
a Captain in the US Air Force from 1970 to 1975. He holds a BS in
Marketing from the University of Utah and a Masters of Business
