STEVEN SHAW has been with Volt since 1982 and is currently a Corporate
Senior Vice President of VIS. In 1998, Mr. Shaw was appointed to the
Board of Directors. Through his career at Volt, Mr. Shaw has held
management positions in three of Volt's four lines of business. Mr. Shaw
currently has direct management oversight for all technical staffing
activities east of the Mississippi. Mr. Shaw holds both graduate and
undergraduate degrees from the University of Southern California in Los

JAMES J. GROBERG is presently Chief Financial Officer, Senior Vice
President and a Director of Volt Information Sciences, Inc., a New York
Stock Exchange Staffing and Telecommunication Services Company. He has
been a member of the Volt management team since 1973, with the exception
of a five year absence from 1981 to late 1985. During that five year
period he was associated with a diversified financial services company
as President and Chief Executive Officer for one year, and as President
of a publicly traded toy manufacturing company for the balance of that
time. Mr. Groberg was born in New York City and holds a degree from the
Wharton School of Finance and Commerce of the University of
