STEVEN ROSSI joined McLaren Performance Technologies, Inc., as
President and Chief Executive Officer at the beginning of 2001.
He is also a member of the McLaren Performance Technologies Board
of Directors. Prior to joining McLaren Mr. Rossi was Vice
President, Global Communications for DaimlerChrysler, from 1999
to 2000. Mr. Rossi participates in the Chrysler Group Officer's
Council circle. From 1995 to 1999 he was General Manager,
Corporate Communications with Mercedes-Benz of North America,
Montvale, New Jersey; from 1993 to 1995 he was Director, Product
Communications, General Motors Corporation, Chevrolet Division,
Warren, Michigan; from 1989 to 1993 Mr. Rossi was Director of
Industry, Government and Public Relations, Saab Cars USA, Inc.,
Orange, Connecticut, and Norcross, Georgia; from 1986 to 1989 he
was Manager, Technical Planning, Product Planning Group, Saab
Product Planning Group; from 1983 to 1986 he was Manager, Product
Development and Compliance at Saab; from 1978 to 1983 he
wasEngineering Liaison at Saab; from 1976 to 1978 he was
Development Engineer, Six Cylinder Engine Design and Development
Group with Ford Motor Company, Dearborn, Michigan. Mr. Rossi
received a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering
from Polytechnic Institute of Brooklyn, New York. He is a member
of numerous professional organizations, including the
International Motor Press Association, the Automotive Press
Association, the Washington Automotive Press Association and the
Motor Press Guild, along with the Arthur Page Society. He is also
