Stan Smith & Jeff Baron – Open Ratings

STAN SMITH, CEO, President and Founder of Open Ratings, brings to the company more than 10 years of management experience and 20 years in the high tech and startup arena. He oversees all Open Ratings strategy and investor relations. Prior to Open Ratings, Mr. Smith served as Vice President and General Manager of Agile Software, which develops and markets Web-centric product content management software. Mr. Smith oversaw the business development, sales, services, and strategic partnerships groups. During his tenure, sales grew tenfold in a two-year period. Previously, Mr. Smith was Vice President of North American sales at Adra Systems (now MatrixOne), where he was responsible for more than 75% of Adra's product data management (PDM) revenue and successfully rebuilt the sales force, focusing on growing their PDM business at triple digit rates. JEFF BARON, the Director of Marketing and Strategic Alliances at Open Ratings, brings extensive experience in the areas of sales, marketing and strategic planning to his position. He oversees all corporate marketing initiatives for the company and is responsible for the development and execution of its alliance strategy. Prior to joining Open Ratings in June 2000, Mr. Baron worked on multiple engagements with Fortune 500 clients as a management consultant at A.T. Kearney. Additionally, he has several years of experience in major account sales with MediaMap, a Boston-area software and information services provider.
