SHERYLE J. BOLTON, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Scientific
Learning Corporation, has more than 25 years of management experience,
most recently as President and Chief Operating Officer of Physicians'
Online, the world's largest online service for physicians. Prior to
joining the company, Ms. Bolton consulted for a number of global
corporations, including many in the healthcare and technology sectors,
specifically in the areas of strategy, operations, and finance. Her
experience also includes senior management positions at Rockefeller &
Company, a global investment management firm, and serving as a Vice
President at Merrill Lynch Capital Markets, Investment Banking Division.
Earlier in her career, Ms. Bolton was a teacher of English as a Second
Language in Africa and a Language Arts Teacher in Georgia public
schools. A graduate of the University of Georgia with a Bachelor's
degree in English and a Master's degree in Linguistics, Ms. Bolton also
earned a Master's of Business Administration from Harvard Business
