Russell J. Harrison – Health Systems Design Corporation (hsdc)

RUSSELL J. HARRISON joined Health Systems Design Corporation as President and Chief Executive Officer in August, 1997. Previously, he served as Vice President and Chief Information Officer of Paris-based SITA GlobeTel Company. SITA and its associated companies operate the world's largest telecommunications network, reaching more than 220 countries and territories. Earlier, Mr. Harrison served as Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of 3Net Systems, a provider of client/server solutions. He also was founding president of AMR Information Services, Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of AMR Corporation, parent of American Airlines. In addition to building and running technology related businesses, Mr. Harrison was Chief Information Officer of McKesson Corporation and served as a senior vice president at Bank of America in San Francisco and London. He began his business career with the fledgling EDS, then a company of fewer than a thousand people. Prior to entering business, Mr. Harrison served as a Captain in the US Marine Corps, including assignments as a platoon leader in Vietnam and as Liaison for the Marine Corps in the White House, in Washington, D.C. Mr. Harrison is a graduate of the University of Southern California, and holds an M.B.A. from St. Mary's College of California, where he now serves on the Board of Regents.
