Romulus Pereira – Riverstone Networks Inc (rstn)

Romulus Pereira is President & CEO of Riverstone Networks, Inc. Before joining the company, he was Chief Operating Officer at Cabletron Systems. He was responsible for directing Cabletron's engineering, sales, services and marketing organizations. In addition, Mr. Pereira served as General Manager of Cabletron's service provider business. Along with Piyush Patel, Cabletron Chairman and CEO, he was one of three founders of YAGO Systems, where he served as Chief Technology Officer and Vice President of Engineering. Prior to co-founding YAGO, Mr. Pereira was at Cisco Systems and Kalpana, where he was instrumental in driving hardware interface specifications and designing hybrid-switching engines that maximized performance and minimized cost.
