ROGER H. BALLOU is President and Chief Executive Officer and a Director
of CDI Corp. Prior to joining CDI, he served as Chairman and Chief
Executive Officer of Global Vacation Group and as a Senior Advisor to
Thayer Capital Partners. He previously was Vice Chairman/Chief Marketing
Officer and then President and Chief Operating Officer of Alamo Rent-A-
Car. For more than 16 years prior to joining Alamo, Mr. Ballou held
several executive positions with American Express, culminating in his
appointment as President of the Travel Services Group. He holds a BS in
Economics from the Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania, and an
MBA from the Amos Tuck School, Dartmouth College. Profile
