ROBERT RILAND ascends to the position of President and CEO of DISC,
after two years as the Vice President of Sales and Marketing. During his
two-year tenure as VP of Sales & Marketing, he spearheaded product
strategy and development, while growing revenues each year. Mr. Riland
brings over 14 years of marketing and sales experience in the high-tech
industry to DISC. Prior to joining DISC, Mr. Riland was the Vice
President of Sales at Maxoptix Corporation, which saw him responsible
for the company's fastest growing business groups, with 20% annual
growth and revenues of more than $30 million per annum. Mr. Riland also
held a number of senior marketing and sales positions with revenue
responsibilities exceeding $100 million during his 8 years at U-tron
Technologies and Acer America. He began his career at AST Computers
where he held a number of marketing positions. Profile
