ROBERT B. MANG was appointed Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of
Galyan's Trading Company, Inc., in October 2000, and is also a Director
of the company. He served in various merchandising and management
capacities with Rich's (Atlanta), Burdines (Miami), and John Wanamaker
(Philadelphia) before becoming President & CEO of Broadway Southwest;
President of The Bon March (Seattle) and President, then Chairman and
Chief Executive Officer, of Woodward & Lothrop/John Wanamaker
(Washington, DC), all retail department stores. Subsequently, he was
Vice Chairman of DFS Group Limited and Chief Executive Officer of Monet
Group, Inc. (New York, NY). He has served on the Board of Trustees of
the Greater Seattle Chamber of Commerce and Patrons of Northwest
Charitable Organizations and as Trustee of Mid-Atlantic Adventist
HealthCare. Mr. Mang graduated from Florida State University School of
Business in 1968 with a BS degree in Marketing and Business Management. Profile
