ROBERT J. LANDER joined Stackpole Limited in January 1999 and is
President, Chief Executive Officer and a member of the Board of
Directors of the company. Prior to joining Stackpole, Mr. Lander was
Vice President of Meridian Technologies Inc., a Canadian publicly traded
automotive parts company producing magnesium and aluminum die-castings.
Mr. Lander was responsible for the very successful Magnesium North
America division and Meridian's Global Technology and Business
Development organization. Prior to this Mr. Lander was Vice President of
a privately owned Tier 1 supplier of automotive metal stampings and
assemblies. Mr. Lander has devoted his career to operations, engineering
and general/executive management positions with technology-driven and
growth-oriented metal forming companies in the automotive industry. Mr.
Lander began his career with General Motors and has a BASc in Mechanical
Engineering from the University of Waterloo. Profile
