Robert Kopstein – Optical Cable Corporation (occf)

ROBERT KOPSTEIN, a Founder of Optical Cable Corporation, has served as the company's President and Chief Executive Officer since 1983. Before that time, Mr. Kopstein worked at Phalo Corporation in Massachusetts from 1981 to 1983 as Plant Manager for its Fiber Optic Cable Division. From 1979 to 1981, he served as Project Engineer on cable development projects for the United States military for ITT Electro-Optical Products Division in Roanoke, Virginia. While at ITT, Mr. Kopstein was responsible for performing the government-funded fiber optic cable development work. Mr. Kopstein worked as Product Engineer on the development of cables for military-oriented applications for Rochester Corporation from 1977 to 1979. Optical Cable Corporation has applied the results of these programs, the technology, the manufacturing methods and the thorough understanding of the capabilities of the tight-buffered cable process to designs for fiber optic cable for commercial applications.
