ROBERT J. DINICOLA is Chairman, Chief Executive Officer of Zale Corporation. Mr. DiNicola is a strong merchant known for his merchandising and marketing savvy as well as his demonstrated leadership skill. He is directly responsible for successfully rebuilding Zale Corporation and for developing the company's current aggressive growth plan. Under his leadership, the company's sales and earnings have consistently improved. Named Chairman of the Board and Chief Executive Officer of Zale Corporation on April 18, 1994, Mr. DiNicola serves as Zale's business strategist. He served the Bon Marche division of Federated Department Stores Inc. as Chairman and Chief Executive Officer from 1992 to 1994 and President and Chief Operating Officer from 1991 to 1992. From 1989-1991, Mr. DiNicola held the post of Senior Vice President, Home Department, Rich's Department Store, a division of Federated.
