Robert Infantino – Astrum Software Corporation

ROBERT INFANTINO founded Astrum Software Corporation in January 1997, to develop and market a family of management software specifically focused on storage and system monitoring in support of IT infrastructure. Prior to Astrum, Mr. Infantino was Founder and President of AcerSoft Corporation, Boston, Massachusetts, a sales- and marketing-driven company dedicated to promoting and providing mission critical software solutions to Fortune 1000 customers. He was also co-Founder and Vice President of Sales for Acorn Software, Hudson, MA. Both AcerSoft and Acorn Software served the storage needs of organizations running OpenVMS on Alpha and VAX platforms. These mission-critical products include: robotic control and storage management software for high capacity optical jukeboxes and tape libraries; data compression software; and hierarchical storage management (HSM) software. Mr. Infantino was Vice President of Sales and Marketing for storage solution provider American Digital Systems, Sudbury, MA. He worked as a Software Engineer at GTE in Westboro, MA, and as an Electrical Engineer for Raytheon, Sudbury, MA.
