ROBERT FOWLES – SPECTRUM ORGANIC PRODUCTS INC (SPOP)

ROBERT B. FOWLES joined Spectrum Organic Products, Inc. as Chief Financial Officer in June 2000 and brings over 20 years of financial expertise in packaged consumer products. During his four years at Spectrum, Mr. Fowles has been instrumental in divesting non-core assets that were either low-margin businesses or represented a distraction from the company's roots in healthy culinary oils and essential fatty acid nutrition. Under his financial leadership, the company has progressed from an unprofitable enterprise with cash flow troubles to one with positive profits, cash flow and working capital. Prior to joining Spectrum, Mr. Fowles served for 19 years in various capacities within the food and beverage businesses of Diageo, Plc, the last seven of which as Chief Financial Officer of the Heublein Wines Group. Mr. Fowles is a Certified Public Accountant and received a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from the University of Connecticut in 1977. Profile
