ROBERT E. (BOB) PRINCE is President and CEO of GTS Duratek, Inc. Mr.
Prince graduated from the U.S. Naval Academy in 1970, completed nuclear
power training and served six years as an engineering officer on nuclear
submarines. Mr. Prince left the Navy in 1976 to pursue a career in
commercial nuclear power. For nine years, he worked for
Gilbert/Commonwealth of Reading, Pennsylvania on various nuclear power
plant projects throughout the world. He also completed his MBA at the
Wharton Business School, University of Pennsylvania. In 1984, he joined
General Physics where he founded a wholly owned subsidiary, General
Technical Services (GTS). Mr. Prince has led GTS from its first business
day. Under his stewardship, the company, through a series of major
transformations, has grown from 'one man and a desk' to a publicly
traded, $160 million revenue company with 1,300 employees. Mr. Prince's
company, GTS Duratek, holds the national leadership position in
providing services and implementing technologies to help its clients
safely deal with radiation, radioactive waste, and other environmental
hazards. In 1996, he was recognized as Maryland's Technology
