ROBERT A. DAVIES, III is President and CEO of Church & Dwight Co., Inc.
manufacturer of ARM & HAMMER brand consumer and specialty products,
located in Princeton, NJ. He is also President of the ARM & HAMMER
Consumer Division. Mr. Davies previously worked with Church & Dwight
from 1969 to 1984 advancing from Vice President of Marketing to
President, Chief Operating Officer. At that time, Mr. Davies was also a
member of the Board of Directors of Church & Dwight. After leaving
Church & Dwight in 1984, Mr. Davies participated in the leveraged buy-
out of California Home Brands, Inc. where he was President and CEO. His
earlier career experience included positions of increasing
responsibility with Procter & Gamble, Colgate Palmolive and American
Home Products. Mr. Davies currently is a member of Church & Dwight's
Board, Footstar Inc. and the Board of The Newgrange School. Mr. Davies
graduated from Colgate University and earned his M.B.A. at Columbia
University. He, his wife and son Alexander reside in Carmel Valley,
