DIANE ASKWYTH has more than 30 years of risk management, brokerage,
profit center management and risk consulting experience with a focus on
Fortune 500 companies. She was hired as Avaya's first Director of Risk
Management in December 2000. Ms. Askwyth is currently responsible for
directing the development, implementation and management of Avaya's
global insurance and risk management programs with staff of two
professionals and annual budget of $30 million. She also serves as
Chairperson of Avaya's Health, Environment and Safety Committee. Prior
to Avaya Inc., Ms. Askwyth has held various esteemed positions with
firms such as Corroon & Black Corporation, Willis Corroon Marine &
Energy Americas, J&H Marsh, and Price Waterhouse Coopers. Her
professional affiliations include being on the boards of the NY RIMS and
the Association of Professional Insurance Women. She is also a member of
the Financial Women's Association of NY, and a former Adjunct Professor
at the College of Insurance. Ms. Askwyth has a BA in Economics from
Seton Hall University and her CPCU designation, ARM54, and has taken
