Richard Soloway – Napco Security Systems Inc (nssc)

RICHARD L. SOLOWAY is the Chairman of the Board of NAPCO Security Systems, Inc., a worldwide leader in patented electronic security systems comprising building access control systems, locking devices and burglar and fire alarms. With 30 years' experience pioneering the international security industry, Mr. Soloway is a national expert and counselor in security trends and issues including domestic and institutional security breaches leading to human injury and loss of life, kidnapping, loss of property, attacks, and robberies. A self-made man, Mr. Soloway began designing and manufacturing electronic sound and light equipment for rock bands in the late 1960s for such notable artists as Eric Clapton. In 1969, Mr. Soloway's entrepreneurial ingenuity identified a growing need for commercial and residential security, and in 1972 he founded NAPCO Security Systems, Inc., as a public company in Copiague, Long Island, New York. Mr. Soloway is the holder of numerous electronic design and manufacturing patents in the security industry. He is listed in the 'Who's Who in Finance and Industry.'
