RICHARD D. GILL is President and Chief Executive Officer of Anvil, Inc.
Dr. Gill has over 20 years of business and R&D experience in the
pharmaceutical and life sciences industries, including executive,
operational and strategic management roles. Prior to joining AnVil, Dr.
Gill served as President and CEO of ActiveCyte, Inc., a private company
with an enterprise-wide solution designed to streamline the processes of
marketing and licensing intellectual property within the global life
sciences community. He was also President and COO of Genome Therapeutics
Corporation, a $500 million market cap public company and leader in
commercialization of genomics-based drug discovery. For 10 years, Dr.
Gill served as Senior Vice President and General Manager of BTG (British
Technology Group) International, Inc., the world's leading commercial
technology transfer company. He also served in several research and
development capacities during his 10-year tenure at Unilever. Dr. Gill
received his PhD in Endocrinology from the NIRD, UK and his BSc in
Physiology and Biochemistry from Reading University, UK. Profile
