ROB FALIVENE joined Pennzoil-Quaker State Company in May 2000 as Senior
Vice President of Supply Chain Development. Mr. Falivene is responsible
for the company's development of a world-class supply chain vision and
strategy, building and executing the strategy and providing an impact on
business results by reducing costs while achieving market competitive
service levels, cycle times and customer satisfaction. Mr. Falivene
directs Pennzoil-Quaker State Company's supply chain management
initiative designed to take out cost and improve performance in
procurement, distribution, logistics, transportation, and packaging and
blending operations. He has 17 years of experience in supply chain
management, most recently as Chief Procurement Officer for Equiva
Services, a joint venture of Shell, Texaco and Saudi Aramco. Immediately
prior to that he was Vice President of Supply Chain Management for
Tricon Global Restaurants, Inc., a division of PepsiCo. From 1983 until
1998, he held positions of increasing responsibility in supply chain
management and supplier development for Anheuser Busch Companies, Inc.
and PepsiCo. Profile
TWST: Could you provide a brief overview of the company just to set thestage for our conversation on social responsibility?
Mr. Falivene: About 22 months ago Pennzoil and Quaker State
