Raj Bhatia – Netgain Development Inc (ntgn.ob)

RAJ BHATIA recently joined NetGain. He will be responsible for analyzing potential investment opportunities as well as securing deal flow and funding from strategic investors. He brings extensive technology and business development experience to the team, having founded several companies in the past few years. He is the Founder and CEO of CoolAudio.com, the first e-retailer to offer 'best of breed (best of class)' audio and video products in all price categories from leading manufacturers around the world. He also is a Founder of Renwick Real Estate, a Manhattan-based developer and investor of residential real estate established in 1996, for which he continues to serve. Prior to forming CoolAudio.com, Mr. Bhatia served as interim turn-around Chairman and CEO of the Carver Corporation, and helped facilitate Bob Carver's return to the company. Mr. Bhatia also was co-Founder of Renwick Capital Management, a $30 million NY-based hedge fund that he launched in 1995 after graduating from The Columbia University School of Business. Mr. Bhatia's commentary has been featured in print and television media, including; The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, The New York Observer, Bloomberg Personal, India Abroad, Inc. Magazine, Crain's New York Business, Entrepreneur Magazine, Silicon India, CNBC's Street Signs with Ron Insana and The Columbia Business School's Hermes Magazine. He was voted one of Avenue Magazine's Top 500 Most Influential Asian Americans for 1997, and was honored by the Glaucoma Foundation for his philanthropy. Mr. Bhatia is a frequent lecturer at The Columbia University Graduate School of Business on both Securities Analysis and Managing New Ventures.
