R. SCHORR BERMAN is the President and Chief Investment Officer of
MDT Advisers, a division of Harris Bretall Sullivan & Smith LLC.
He has over 18 years' experience investing in public and private
equities. Mr. Berman began investing quantitatively while an
investment officer with Memorial Drive Trust. He co-founded MDT
Advisers, Inc., in 1988. Harris Bretall Sullivan & Smith LLC
acquired MDT Advisers, Inc., on August 26, 2002. Mr. Berman
earned a BA degree in English from Stanford University and an MBA
degree from the Harvard Graduate School of Business
Administration with the distinction of being a Baker Scholar. Profile
GORDON J. CERESINO, the Chief Executive Officer of Harris Bretall
Sullivan & Smith LLC, has over 20 years' experience in
management, marketing and business development. Mr. Ceresino is a
member of the firm's Executive Committee and is a Board member of
Value Asset Management Inc. (Harris Bretall's parent company).
Mr. Ceresino entered the securities industry with Dean Witter
Reynolds in 1980 and served as a Vice President and Branch
Manager until 1985. From 1985 until joining Harris Bretall in
1991, Mr. Ceresino held senior positions in the securities
industry, focusing on product development and distribution. He
earned a BA degree in Economics in 1979 from Stanford University.
Mr. Ceresino received his Certified Investment Management Analyst
(CIMA) from the Investment Management Consultants Association,
and is a former Board member of the Money Management Institute
