PRIVATE EQUITY INVESTMENT: ROGER MARRERO – APAX PARTNERS

Roger Marrero joined Apax Partners in 2001 and focuses primarily on late-stage leveraged transactions. Previously, he worked at Hicks, Muse, Tate & Furst where he specialized in private equity investments in media, manufacturing and direct marketing industries in the US and Latin America. Prior to joining Apax, he co-founded Govolution, a Washington DC-based application service provider dedicated to Web enabling city, state and federal governments. Previously, he was an investment banker at Goldman Sachs where he specialized in mergers and acquisitions in New York and later worked in the corporate finance practice in Dallas. He is a Board member for Concord Elevator. He is a graduate of the University of Texas at Austin where he received a BA in the Plan II liberal arts honors program and a BBA with majors in Finance and Business honors.
