DAVID M. HILAL is a Managing Director and senior analyst in FBR's
technology research group, specializing in the enabling technologies
industry. Mr. Hilal is highly respected in the financial industry for
his research and recommendations, and in June 2000 was chosen by The
Street.com as the best stock picker in the Internet software and
services sector. Prior to joining FBR, Mr. Hilal was a manager at
American Management Systems, a global information technology consulting
firm. Mr. Hilal managed the implementation of several enterprise,
client/server and Internet applications. Mr. Hilal received his MBA in
Finance and his BS in Mechanical Engineering from the University of
Notre Dame. Mr. Hilal is a member of the Association for Investment
Management and Research (AIMR) and the Washington Society of Investment
