Philippe Archinard is Chief Executive Officer of Innogenetics NV. Mr.
Archinard obtained an Engineering degree in Chemistry at the University
of Montpellier and received his Doctorate degree in Biochemistry from
the University of Lyon in 1985. In 1994, he completed the PMD program at
the Harvard Business School. He began his career with bioMrieux in 1985
as Immunology Laboratory Manager. Five years later, he became project
manager at the company's branch in Boston, Massachusetts, responsible
for developing a new immunoassay test system. Two years later he took up
the assignment as director of the Immunoassay Business Unit Europe,
responsible for R&D, Production and Marketing and Sales. In 1993, Mr.
Archinard was appointed President of bioMrieux Inc. in St. Louis,
Missouri. Following this, he became Corporate Executive Vice President
in 1997, responsible for the entire European operations, corporate R&D
and marketing. Since March 2000, Mr. Archinard has been Chief Executive
