Peter Kallet – Oneida Ltd (ocq)

PETER J. KALLET is Chairman of the Board, President and Chief Executive Officer of Oneida Ltd., a New York Stock Exchange company located in Oneida, New York, which manufactures and markets tableware. He joined Oneida Ltd. in 1967, initially working in the Accounting Department. Subsequently he held positions of increased responsibility in Oneida's sales, marketing, product and purchasing departments, including Consumer Products Sales Representative, Director of Purchasing, Manager of Product Operation, and National Sales Manager of the Oneida Foodservice Division. Mr. Kallet was Senior Vice President and General Manager of the Oneida Foodservice Division before he was elected President and Chief Operating Officer of Oneida Ltd. in January 1996. In October 1998 he was elected Chief Executive Officer, effective December 18, 1998. He was elected Chairman of the Board on May 31, 2000. Mr. Kallet is past President of the National Tabletop and Giftware Association, and the New York Restaurant Association. He also is a member of the Business Council of New York State, the Chase Northeast Advisory Board, the Oneida Industrial Development Agency, and the State University of New York at Morrisville College Advisory Board.
