PETER GUNDERMANN was appointed President and Chief Executive Officer of Astronics in 2003. Mr. Gundermann previously held the position of President of Luminescent Systems, Inc., the primary operating subsidiary of Astronics, since 1991. Mr. Gundermann has been with the company since 1988 and has served as a member of the board of directors since 2000.
