Paul Blondin – Iphighway Inc

PAUL BLONDIN joined IPHighway in May 1999, with extensive experience in the telecommunications industry in both the US and abroad. As President and CEO, Mr. Blondin is responsible for defining and executing IPHighway's corporate and business development activities. Most recently, Mr. Blondin was President and CEO of Netect Ltd., an Israeli network security software company with corporate headquarters in Framingham, Mass. Previously, he served as Chairman of the Board of Open Development Corporation (ODC), a provider of enhanced services platforms to the telecommunications industry. In 1997, Mr. Blondin played an instrumental role in negotiating the merger of ODC with Glenayre Technologies. Prior to ODC, he was Chief Financial Officer at Cascade Communications Corp., a supplier of wide-area data communications equipment that was acquired by Ascend Communications in 1997. Prior to joining Cascade, Mr. Blondin served as Vice President and Controller of Proteon Inc., a provider of LAN and internetworking products. His seven- year career with the company included a year-long assignment in England as General Manager of Proteon's European subsidiaries. In addition to his duties at IPHighway, Mr. Blondin is currently a member of the Board of Directors of MEI Software Inc. He is a graduate of Boston College and holds an MBA from Babson College.
