PAMELA MARRONE – AGRAQUEST INC

PAMELA MARRONE is Chairman and Founder of AgraQuest Inc. Dr. Marrone founded AgraQuest in 1995 to discover, develop and market environmentally friendly and effective natural products for farm, home and public health pest management. Red Herring magazine named AgraQuest a 2004 Top 100 private company. Dr. Marrone has raised $49 million from internationally recognized venture capital and agribusinesses to fund the company's operations. Prior to her employment at AgraQuest, Dr. Marrone was President of Entotech, a subsidiary of Denmark-based Novo Nordisk. Before Novo Nordisk, Dr. Marrone worked for Monsanto Agricultural Company (1983-1990) as head of the Insect Biotechnology group. She was the founding Chair of the Biopesticide Industry Alliance, a trade organization of 25 biopesticide companies, and now serves on its Board. She serves on the Board of Sutter Health's six hospital Sacramento-Sierra region.
