Packaged Software : Charles Elliot – Goldman Sachs

CHARLES ELLIOT is a Software Analyst at Goldman Sachs. He graduated from Oxford in 1977 with an MA in Modern History. He joined Goldman Sachs in 1985 and was a founder of the Japanese research department, moving to the London research department in 1992 to cover UK and European emerging growth companies. He was voted top foreign analyst in the Nikkei poll throughout his tenure in Tokyo. He was earlier a graduate trainee at SG Warburg & Co (mainly working in investment management) then manager of the Japanese office of Rowe & Pitman (now SBC Warburg Securities). In the 1996-1998 Institutional Investor surveys he was ranked first in Information Technology, with first positions also for Technology in the Reuters and Extel polls in 1998. Profile
