Outlook For Independent Energy Companies: Frederic Sewell – Netherland, Sewell & Associates

FREDERIC D. SEWELL is President of Netherland, Sewell & Associates, Inc. (NSAI), a company originally founded by Clarence M. Netherland in 1961 and renamed after Mr. Sewell joined the firm in 1969. Prior to working for NSAI, he was District Chief Engineer with Exxon Company, U.S.A. (now Exxon Mobil) and Vice President of McCommons Oil Company in Dallas. Mr. Sewell received his Bachelor of Science degree in Petroleum Engineering from the University of Texas at Austin in 1957. He is a member of the Society of Petroleum Engineers of AIME and the Independent Petroleum Association of America. He is also a Registered Professional Engineer in the state of Texas. As President of NSAI, Mr. Sewell is responsible for appraisal of oil and gas properties, integrated geological and engineering field studies, and economic evaluation of exploration and exploitation programs throughout the world.
