TONY SILVERMAN is a tobacco analyst at Deutsche Bank. He graduated from
Cambridge University with a degree in Mathematics, and was previously
employed as a Government Actuary. He is a fellow of the Institute of
Actuaries, and has co-written several academic papers on insurance. Mr
Silverman is married with three children. In recent years he has
followed the tobacco industry and achieved high ratings in investor
