NIKKI BECKETT is 39 years old, married with two children and is the
winner of the Veuve Cliquot Business Woman of the Year Award for 2000.
Nikki Beckett joined IBM in 1979. During the early years Nikki was
involved in all aspects of the business including Finance, Business
Planning and Systems, eventually moving to Sales. After 15 years in IBM,
Nikki bought a small Retail software business and founded NSB. NSB set
about creating a culture in the business where everyone felt involved,
NSB made commitments to customers then delivered. NSB made customer
satisfaction the only measure of success. With foundations in place, NSB
more than doubled in size between 1995 and flotation on the AIM in
September 1997. In 1998 NSB made their first acquisition and more than
doubled in size again to more than 170 employees. Last year NSB merged
with Unlimited Solutions Inc., a North American company that again
doubled NSB's size to over 300 people. In February this year, NSB
acquired Real Time Control (RTC) which again almost doubled the company
