N. ROBERT HAMMER is Chairman, President and CEO of commVault
Systems, Inc. Since joining CommVault in 1997, he has defined the
company's vision and strategic direction to dramatically expand
the market opportunity served, transforming the organization into
a leading supplier of data management and storage management
solutions. Previously, he spent a decade leading the successful
acquisition, management and growth of undervalued technology-
related businesses. In that capacity, he served as Chairman,
President and CEO of the Norand Corporation, among others. Mr.
Hammer is a Venture Partner of Sprout Group, an affiliate of
Credit Suisse/First Boston (formerly Donaldson, Lufkin &
