MITCHELL I. GORDON is Executive Vice President and Chief
Financial Officer of Interpool, Inc. Prior to joining Interpool,
Mr. Gordon was President of Atlas Capital Partners, a private
equity investment firm, which he co-founded. Mr. Gordon was
formerly Managing Director and co-Head of Salomon Smith Barney's
Transportation Investment Banking Group. At Salomon Smith Barney
he advised companies on capital market transactions, strategy and
mergers and acquisitions. Prior to that, he served as Senior Vice
President and Head of the Transportation and Automotive
Investment Banking Groups at Furman Selz. Mr. Gordon has served
as Vice President of Investment Banking at Needham & Company and
was previously Manager of Strategic Planning for American
Broadcasting Companies. He has been involved in over 150
transactions. He has served on the Board of Directors of two
public companies, Interpool, Inc., and Indigo Aviation, and has
also served on the Global Advisory Board of NedShip Bank Group.
He also serves on the Board of Directors of the Student Sponsor
Partnership, a New York City-based educational mentoring
organization. He holds a BSBA from Washington University and an
