Midstage Enterprise Software: Douglas Chertok – Hudson Ventures

DOUGLAS CHERTOK has been the Managing Director of Hudson Ventures since 2000. Prior to joining Hudson, he practiced law at Morrison & Foerster LLP, where he represented numerous early stage technology companies in angel, institutional and PIPEs financings, IPOs, mergers and acquisitions, employment and intellectual property matters as well as a variety of business development and joint venture deals. From 1992 to 1996, he held several executive positions within the hospitality and gaming industries, most recently as a corporate director of Lady Luck Gaming Corporation, which following its IPO, was sold to Isle of Capri Casinos. Before that, he founded and operated a New York-based gourmet food manufacturing company, which distributed to the Tri-State area. In addition to working with many of Hudson's portfolio companies, he now serves on the Boards of Poindexter Systems, and E-Tran and is an adviser to Netkey, PowerSteering Software, and The Relegence Corporation. He also remains active in the venture community by sitting on the boards of the Global Venture Network, the "Start-Up and Emerging Companies Strategist" (an American Lawyer Media publication) and the Long Island/New York Metro Capital Forum.
