MICHAEL W. SHELTON joined FNB Financial Services Corporation in 1996 as
Controller and has served as Chief Financial Officer since January 2000.
He was named Senior Vice President of the company in January 2004. Prior
to his employment with FNB Financial Services Corporation, he was with a
large regional institution for four years where he worked in the areas
of credit administration, and mergers and acquisitions. Mr. Shelton
began his 16 year banking career in 1988 at a Greensboro, North
Carolina-based thrift, while working four years in the accounting and
operations department. He attended the University of North Carolina at
Greensboro, where he received both a BS and MS degree in Accounting. He
