MICHAEL F. NEIDORFF has been President, CEO and a Board member of
Centene Corporation since May 1996. Having spent the past 16
years in healthcare management, Mr. Neidorff is a senior
executive with in-depth knowledge and management expertise in the
field. He has recently led the company through a successful
initial public offering. Prior to joining Centene, Mr. Neidorff
served as the Regional Vice President of Coventry, a publicly
traded managed care organization, and as the President and CEO of
one of its subsidiaries, Group Health Plan, Inc. Mr. Neidorff
also served as the President and CEO of Physicians Health Plan of
Greater St. Louis, a subsidiary of UnitedHealth Group, also a
