MICHAEL MACMILLAN is Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Alliance
Atlantis Communications Inc., a leading vertically integrated
broadcaster, creator and distributor of filmed entertainment with
ownership interests in 18 specialty channels. The company's principal
business activities are conducted through three operating groups:
Broadcast, Motion Picture and Television. Mr. MacMillan graduated from
Queen's University at Kingston, Ontario (BA, Honors Film Studies) and in
1978 he co-founded Atlantis Films Limited (which later became Atlantis
Communications Inc.) with, among others, Seaton McLean and Janice Platt.
