MICHAEL J. KAWAS is Executive Vice President of Operations and Chief
Financial Officer of the Musculoskeletal Transplant Foundation.
Previously, he was Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer of BioCon,
Inc., and all affiliated entities. From 1994 to 1999, he was Chief
Financial Officer/Vice President of Operations of the Musculoskeletal
Transplant Foundation. From 1991 to 1994, he was Chief Financial Officer
of the Foundation and from 1988 to 1991, he was Comptroller and
Treasurer. Prior to joining the Musculoskeletal Transplant Foundation,
he was a Senior Financial Analyst with Reliance Group Holdings, Inc.,
from 1986 to1988. He was a Senior Accountant with Arthur Young and
Company from 1983-1986 and a Senior Accountant with Pannell, Kerr,
Forster from 1981 to1983. Mr. Kawas has a Bachelor of Business
Administration degree from Pace University and Master of Business
