MICHAEL DUNHAM is a co-founder and President of Effective Management
Systems (EMS), a Milwaukee-based corporation which markets and supports
leading edge ERP and MES systems out of forty locations worldwide.
Mike's educational background includes a BSEE from the University of
Denver and an MMS from Stevens Institute of Technology. Other past and
present involvements include: 1995 Entrepreneur of the Year Award Winner
selected by Merrill Lynch/INC. Magazine/Ernst & Young; Founding member
of the Council of Small Business Executives (COSBE) Section of the
Milwaukee Metropolitan Association of Commerce (MMAC); Past Chairman of
COSBE; Coordinator of 1990 INC. 500 Conference in Milwaukee; Member of
the Board of Directors of MMAC; Former Board member of the Friends of
the Milwaukee Public Museum; Member of Alverno College's President's
Council; Director of the Greater Milwaukee Education Trust; Member of
World President's Organization; Participation in judging various
entrepreneurial award programs; National Speaker's Bureau and APICS
Certified Fellow; IEEE Computer Society, National Computer Graphics
Association and often times quoted in industry periodicals such as
Computer Systems News, VARBUSINESS, etc. Mike is proud to have brought
the INC. 500 Conference to Milwaukee in 1990, a first for the City,
receiving recognition from Governor Tommy Thompson. In addition, EMS has
received INC. Magazine's '28th Fastest Growing Company in the Nation'
award. EMS today employs over 375 people. In 1994, the company became
