Michael D. Goldberg – Oncare Inc

MICHAEL D. GOLDBERG has served as Chairman, CEO and a director of OnCare since its inception in 1995. In these positions, he oversees all aspects of the growing cancer practice management company, whose goal is to enable oncologists to continuously improve care for their cancer patients through the use of clinical information systems. Previously, Mr. Goldberg was President and CEO of Axion, Inc., a cancer focused healthcare service company he founded in 1987. Prior to his tenure with Axion, he was a partner at the venture capital firm Sevin Rosen Funds, where he was responsible for the firm's investments in the biomedical industry. Prior to his tenure with Sevin Rosen, Mr. Goldberg was Director of Corporate Development and a member of the Operating Committee at Cetus Corporation, a biotechnology company. Mr. Goldberg received a B.A. from Brandeis University and an M.B.A. from the Stanford Graduate School of Business. He is a member of the executive committee of the board of trustees of the National Childhood Cancer Foundation where he serves as chairman of the finance and audit committee. Mr. Goldberg is a founding member of the board of directors of TechNet, a bipartisan organization of technology and business leaders whose goal is to create the framework for a new economy for the benefit of their employees and the community as a whole.
