MICHAEL J. CULOTTA joined LifePoint Hospitals, Inc., in November 2001 as
Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer. Prior to joining
LifePoint, Mr. Culotta spent 25 years with Ernst & Young LLP. In 1989 he
became a partner in the firm. During his tenure with Ernst & Young, Mr.
Culotta advised public and private companies, including several large
healthcare organizations as well as health sciences companies, on issues
concerning acquisitions, financing and SEC accounting and reporting. Mr.
Culotta currently serves on the Board of Directors for the Nashville
Ballet and has previously served as Chairman of the Board of the
Tennessee Valley Region of the American Red Cross Blood Services,
Treasurer of the Nashville Area Chapter of the American Red Cross and as
a Board member for the Nashville Healthcare Council. Profile
