MATTHEW TOWSE – FAIRCHILD SEMICONDUCTOR INTERNATIONAL INC (FCS)

MATTHEW W. TOWSE is Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Fairchild Semiconductor International, Inc. He has 19 years of industry and financial experience. He began his career working in public accounting with the firm Ernst & Young. In 1991 he joined National Semiconductor, holding various financial positions at their California and Maine facilities. He was promoted to Site Controller for National's South Portland, Maine, plant in 1995. Mr. Towse joined Fairchild as Vice President and Treasurer in 1997 when the company 'spun out' from National Semiconductor. He was instrumental in Fairchild's success with major financing activity and played a significant role in its acquisition strategy. Mr. Towse served in this role until his current appointment as Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer.
