Mark Shull – Digex Inc (digx)

MARK SHULL is President and CEO of Digex, Inc. With more than 16 years' experience in the technology industry combined with a talent for strategic thinking, he has put Digex out in front in the rapidly evolving marketplace of Web and application hosting services. An outsourcing pioneer, Mr. Shull helped create and establish GTE Internetworking's Network Centric Solutions (NCS) unit as one of the industry's leading high-end Internet application development, systems integration and hosting businesses, growing it to $22 million in revenue with 120 professionals in less than three years. As Vice President and General Manager at NCS, he signed and developed some of the first significant Web outsourcing clients in the industry. His star-studded roster included: The Los Angeles Times, The Chicago Tribune, The Boston Globe, Scudder Capital Group, GeoCities and Citysearch. Under Mr. Shull's direction, NCS grew to three data centers in the United States and another in the United Kingdom. Mr. Shull also spent seven years with EDS Management Consulting where, as General Manager of EDS Japan, he developed a strategic plan to increase EDS investments and revenues in Japan and to focus business on outsourcing within the retail and manufacturing markets. Under his leadership, annual revenues for EDS Japan grew from $20 million to $50 million in less than 18 months. Mr. Shull received his Juris Doctor from Stanford University and his Bachelor's degree from Princeton University, where he majored in Public and International Affairs. Profile
