Mark Campbell – Soul Food Concepts Inc (slfd)

Maintaining a balance between the structure of a corporate environment and the uncertainties and risks of entrepreneurship has been more of a rule than an exception in MARK CAMPBELL's life. Mr. Campbell is currently the President and CEO of Soul Food Concepts, Inc., a public company that owns and operates The Shark Bar and Mekka restaurants, a national chain with five restaurants across the country. Mr. Campbell began his foray in the food industry when he opened the Soul Caf_ restaurant in midtown Manhattan four years ago with partners Malik Yoba and Michael Vann. He was previously an investment banker whose forte was the equities markets. He specialized in private and public venture capital, and focused on start-up and small to mid-sized companies in the high technology and entertainment industries. With his valuable banking experience from Wall Street, Mr. Campbell successfully formed Kova Capital, a venture capital concern that provided strategic advisory services to entrepreneurs, and finances properties in the entertainment industry. Mr. Campbell intends to build the first national 'Soul Food' Restaurant Company with restaurants throughout major urban areas n the United States with the expansion of the Shark Bar and Mekka concepts.
