MARK BREIER joined Beyond.com as president and chief executive officer
in March 1998. Before joining Beyond.com he was vice president of
marketing for Amazon.com. Prior to that, Mr. Breier was vice president
of marketing at Cinnabon Corporation. From 1988 to 1994 he was group
brand manager with Dreyer's/Edy's Ice Cream. Mr. Breier also held
product and brand management positions at Kraft Foods Inc. and General
Mills Inc. Mr. Breier was a member of the board of directors for the
Stanford University Alumni Association from 1991 to 1994. During his
tenure on the board, he served as team chairman of the Strategic
Planning Committee. He was awarded a master of business administration
from Stanford University's Graduate School of Business in 1985 and a
bachelor of arts degree in economics from Stanford University in 1981.
Mr. Breier is a life-long basketball enthusiast, loves to travel and is
