Marc Crimeni – Eduverse.com (eduv)

MARC CRIMENI, Chairman, President and CEO of eduverse.com., has used his strong technical background to focus exclusively on the sales and marketing of high-tech products in his 20-year career. He has extensive national and international experience and has been instrumental in the growth of several of North America's leading software companies. His frontline experience includes senior positions with Sydney Development Corp., Consumers Software, Inetco Systems, and Microsoft Corporation of Redmond, Washington. During his tenure with Consumer Software Inc. (CSI), he was responsible for global dealer distribution and negotiated agreements in 22 countries, resulting in a tenfold increase in the distribution run rate (monthly sales). He had an active role in CSI becoming one of the largest Canadian software companies ever acquired by Microsoft. After the acquisition, Mr. Crimeni accepted a position with Microsoft, where he continued to represent the international distribution channel for Microsoft Electronic Mail and Work Group Applications. Mr. Crimeni has conducted business in over 60 countries, establishing distributors, dealers and resellers, and has strong global contacts and experience to draw upon. Recently, he served as Vice President of Sales & Marketing at InMedia Presentations Inc. Prior to InMedia, he was the Manager of International Sales for Inetco Systems Ltd., a Vancouver-based privately held software company which produced some of the finest communication software available for OS/2', MS-DOS', and Windows NT'. Inetco's clients included Siemens Nixdorf, the Hong Kong stock exchange and several large financial institutions. Mr. Crimeni is responsible for the operation of the company, establishing and maintaining important strategic alliances within the distance education sector, and guiding the company's transformation from its development phase to its marketing phase.
